In this web site, I hope to try and share with you (the reader), what I (Chris) am doing in Scotland. So where do I begin? HHHHHHMMMMM......that is a good question. Why don't I start off with where I left off in my last newsletter. Wait you say? Oh you haven't had a chance to read it. Well have no fear,I have a page set up where you can check out the new and old news letters and you will be caught up in no time. For a future reference, I will be placing all my newsletters in an achieve where if you want to go back and reread one from the past. Now some people might think that looking at words on a screen is boring and I agree which is why I have a section where you can visit Scotland in pictures. You can view that by clicking here to see the pictures. Those will be updated when I have a chance.

So how did all this come about. Well, here is the story. Extreme Scotland began in 2004 with founder, Chris "Tweeder" Caruthers. There was a handful of young people from Impact Youth Ministries, and a lot of vision! Critics criticized and scoffers scoffed. No one knew of the boundless passion that was about to be unleashed. Like molten lava, the eruption was explosive. Within a short time Extreme was well on its way of becoming the greatest thing since individually wrapped bubble gum! With the inception of Impact Youth Ministries and the legendary 'Impacters,' Extreme Scotland was quickly becoming an uncontrollable giant!
Today, Extreme Scotland working with Impact Youth Ministries reaches more students every week, than the maximum capacity of any given restroom in Europe!

Rumor has it though that Tweeder has been known to be in Texas helping out EXTREME STUDENT MINISTRIES, the youth ministry of Midlothian Christian Fellowship and it currently meets Wednesday nights at The LightHouse.

Well that is the story how everything was started, but the more important question is why. There are a series of questions and thoughts that need to be asked. Where are you headed? Not right now, not this moment, this week, this year or even this decade...Lets talk about the ultimate goal of your life, and even what happens after death. It's a crazy, mixed-up world we live in. People are confused and many don't even know it. But what you believe matters. It determines the course of your life. It's dark out there. The world can be a dark place and the line between darkness and light passes through the heart of each of us. Every human has the potential to do good or to do evil with their lives.

   Today it is popular to argue that it doesn't matter what you believe so long as you are sincere. But surely, that is crazy? Nothing matters so much as what we believe. What you believe matters; it determines the course of your life. Do yourself a favour: Take the time to examine YOUR BELIEFS.
